Tohid Hajibabaei Biography:
Tohid Hajibabaei (born 1988 in Tabriz) is the founder and leader of the Aylan Azerbaijani Folklore Dance Ensemble.
He started the art – sport of Azerbaijani dance as a child and was trained by dance teachers in Tabriz, Tehran, Baku, as well as folk dance instructors in Russia and Italy. Master Hajibabaei founded the Aylan Dance Ensemble in 2007 and has directed, performed in and led the Aylan Group in various domestic and foreign dance, music and ritual scenes and festivals and won various awards and titles in Russia, France, Italy, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Austria, Georgia and Spain. Also, Aylan Group led by Tohid Hajibabaei has been chosen as the selected group in three consecutive periods of Tehran International Folklore Festival in 2015, 2017 and 2019. Among the distinguished choreographies of Master Hajibabaei, the compositions of Aradan, Beshdash, Azda, Baylan, Atishma, Tovlama, Shaylan, Kocheri, Shenlik, Aylanish and Qars can be mentioned.
Tohid Hajibabaei holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology and is graduated in master’s degree in engineering from the University of Tehran.
