This ancient site has three different parts, including the military fortress, Qosha Tepe, and another part, which is located on a total area of 400 hectares.
🔸Archaeological researchers have estimated the age of Qosha Tepe to be about 9,000 years (7,000 BC), and the age of the castle and the other part of this ancient site to be at least 1450 BC. The city of Yeri has many raised stones and petroglyphs that have eroded over time and caused great damage to these ancient remains, such that the tornado of 2011 destroyed and devastated a large part of the site. The existence of 280 pieces of ancient raised stones, dating back to more than 8,000 BC, has attracted the attention of researchers more than ever.
🔸The height of these raised stones varies between 70 and 360 centimeters, and the most important and interesting point is that these raised stones are in the shape of humans and have human faces engraved on them. These stone carvings and carvings show the shape of humans with their hands clasped together, most of whom have no mouths!
🗿A woman alone among the mouthless people of Yeri!
🔸This is not the end of the story, the further we go, the more wonders and surprises this area presents to us. Wonders that engage the mind more and more and make us look for the reason. For example, next to all those statues of mouthless men, there is only one woman standing! Yes, a statue of a woman.
